Catching Up

One last look at 'The Mountain'.
King Billy walk ....the King Billy pines provide multi-purpose timber and are HUGE trees! Jon's in awe.

We've slowed down a little since our epic climb last Thursday. Since then we have.....completed 5 short walks round Cradle Mountain; sat by a fire in a Chateau as a thunderstorm raged outside; tackled a VERY muddy 4WD track to the tallest falls in Tassie - Montezuma Falls; crossed to the west coast and survived a very wet and windy night at Macquarie Heads (near Strahan) in the tent; eaten fish 'n' chips Tassie West Coast style....a pink fleshed steak of ocean trout and crinkle cut chips; driven windy roads thru to Queenstown with it's 'moonscape' surrounding hills. Adventures unfold every day and we are so thankful for the opportunity to see this amazing place and share the journey together. Thanks to those who are following the blog and to those who have commented. We have appreciated your thoughts.

Aaagh! I still can't use this thing. I am, however, suffering a severe attack of the "warm and fuzzies" reading about your adventures in this great country of ours and seeing the pics. So glad you're getting to see and enjoy it. Did you have to dry out your stuff after the rainy night in the tent?

Good to see you doing some of the things we did while we were in Tassie & a lot of the things we wanted to do.
If you are still in the area go to Dismal Swamp it is really cool
when you get over near Launceston treat yourself to a drive up jacobs Ladder in Ben Lomond National Park, I wanted to do it but we ran out of time to get back to Bilo for Katherine.

I received a Job offer Yesterday & waiting for two more today before I make up my mind which one to take. the Lord has been kind to us this week opening a few doors when others were closed in our faces.
I put new Tyres on the jackaroo with my Redundancy pay as the old ones were getting skatey & scary.
Maxxis 761's so much safer to drive now

Keep having FUN and drive safely

Love & God Bless
